Fun Quiz

So, I was reading Julie's blog and saw this fun little quiz she has:

You Are Megara!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Charming and witty. You are always the first person to come up with a wisecrack. Sure, you have an attitude, but that's why people love you. You keep them on their toes. Sometimes you can be misleading, but always end up doing the right thing for the people you love.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

A Kiss On the Chic October

Oh man, there's some yumminess going on here!

Kit #1 - "Very Vintage Halloween" - Main Kit: $25.00

Kit #1 - "Very Vintage Halloween" - Haunted House Album - Add-on Kit: $14.00

Kit #1 - "Very Vintage Halloween" - Pink Paislee Add-on Kit: $20.00

Kit #1 - "Very Vintage Halloween" - Extra Shabby Add-on Kit: $14.00

Laura went totally overboard and didn't realize it! oops.. Hopefully you LOVELY ladies LOVE Halloween! I think you're covered for sure! There's the Little Yellow Bicycle Haunted House Album for those of you who wanted an album add-on... great Pink Paislee Stamps (I might have to get one and I rarely stamp!) and great chipboard accents for the stampers in the club AND last but not least, the "Shabby Chic/Vintage" lovers who just want more paper and embellishments are covered in the last add-on! Hopefully this isn't too confusing to you guys. You just pick what you like and when they run out, they run out! I will tell you Laura only ordered 6 stamp sets so there are only 6 of the Pink Paislee stamp kits!

One last thing...
Just to make sure everyone knows how to order the kits...
1. Go to the blog at: http://akissonthechic.typepad.com/ and click on the left hand side where it says "kit club". There will be an "october kits" button that you can click on and it will direct you to the kits. There will be Paypal buttons for you to purchase and you'll want to click on the Member price. PLEASE purchase all kits that you want at the same time! (see note at the bottom)
2. The kits will be up on the website as well: http://www.akissonthechic.com/ but the Paypal buttons on the website will direct you to the blog since we don't have the buttons working yet on my website to purchase.
3. You may order as many kits as you want! I will say that this month we WILL SELL OUT OF ALL KITS! If the Halloween kit is sold out and you want to skip this month, that is fine. But remember, you only get to skip 2 times in a 12 month period. And the Basic Grey kit is going to "rock" too!!!

Now keep in mind, Laura just picked her Design Team last Wednesday so they are just getting their goodies today and tomorrow. She won't have their examples up for a few days probably. I also didn't have the Basic Grey goodies to send them so the "Not your Basic Fall" examples will be a little longer wait...

Oh... 1 more thing!!!
CONTEST!!! You can check out more on the AKOTC blog but real quickly... Laura is purging a LOT of scrapbooking supplies from the last 13 years! She's putting all this product in the kits this month! We're not talking old MME diecut kids... This is stuff that we can still use and thus my contest... She wants everyone who buys a kit to figure out what is the "junk" from her stash and turn it into a "treasure"!!! ( it won't be on the pictures so it will be easy to figure out and everyone will have different things) Anyone that uses it on a layout or altered project and sends her a picture will be entered into the giveaway! One lucky winner will get one of Novembers add-on kits for FREE! Your choice!!!

Buy this kit and play with it!!!

Fabulous Friday!

Can you hear the song in my voice as I type that? No? Are you sure? Remember that fabulous thing I mentioned yesterday? I can finally tell you what it is....

I made the inaugural Design Team for A Kiss on the Chic scrapbook kit club (www.akissonthechic.com)! Oh my gosh, Laura has FABULOUS kits full of fun goodies and yummy papers! OK, I need to come up with another adjective besides "fabulous". I've used it like 5 times already. Seriously, go over there - now! And if you click on her blog link to the right over there -------> you'll see some peeks for the Very Vintage Halloween kits for October. Pink Paislee is so cool and I just *heart* the Harvest Moon papers! And she doesn't have peeks yet, but the other kit for October will feature BasicGrey and Sassafrass Lass. Wheeeee!!!! I am so stoked! The other gals selected for the team are Chrissy Le, Melanie S., Debra Famularo, and Norma Kennedy. I'm so excited to be working with these gals!

OK, on to other things, as if there could be anything else! It's Friday and Jason's coming home this weekend! In fact, he's on his way right now and should hopefully be here within the next hour or so...well, that depends on how long the line is at the DMV for him to renew his car tags. Nice. We have football practice tonight, a football game tomorrow morning, a scout function tomorrow afternoon, camping with scouts tomorrow night (yeah, right, no I'm not camping), and I get the night to myself to scrap, play, and watch tv!

Look!

So I just got the October "All Fall" kit from The Scrapping Spot (http://www.thescrappingspot.com/) and it's BEAUTIFUL! Fancy Pants papers are so lovely! Here is a page I made WHILE SITTING AT FOOTBALL PRACTICE!!

These kits are available now! (I need to take a better picture when it's light outside!)
And in other news, I'm giddy with excitement but I can't let the cat out of the bag just yet! Stay tuned!

Finding something new all the time

What do I mean? Well, I came here to post and I saw a new field for a link. OK. Not sure what I would want to link to from my title, but I guess that could be useful.

It's Tuesday. Actually, it's almost Wednesday at this point. As usual, football is kicking my butt. But my little guy is so cute! Who can resist this?

I really need to rework my banner. Wait...I'm going to make a cool new one using the upcoming OCTOBER SCRAPPING SPOT kit! Just you wait!

Jason's coming home this weekend and the house is a disaster area. I can't keep up! I need to stay home. The only way I can do that, though, is to move to Europe! Paris isn't that bad....

A cold

I have a first day of fall cold. Blech. Actually, I started getting it last week in celebration of the end of summer. I managed to make it through the football hullabaloo but skipped church yesterday. Now it's all snot and crap in my head.

I'll be glad when the schools are done with all of their fundraising. Well, not just the school but scouts, too. Why do they all do it at the same time???? At least it's not all wrapping paper!

Anyone want to buy boys scout popcorn? :)
