Memorial Day Weekend (AKA how to make lobster)

Yeah, I'm one of those moms who laughs at my kids' pain and anguish.  But they did it to themselves.  See?

THIS is why we only go one day a year.  Now, I did put sunscreen on them but all of this rolling around in the sand was counterproductive.  The one of the right?  He just needed some butter poured on him right then and there.  And he's supposed to go to Gulf Shores in 2 weeks with the youth at church.  Uh, yeah, right.  My baby up there at the top was M.I.S.E.R.A.B.L.E.  :(  They're all in much better spirits now.

I would be more miserable with all the sand all over me. I am a beach girl, but I dont like having sand in places it shouldnt be!
Thanks for stopping by Bloggeritaville! You really should canoe the cahaba....such a great experience!

Ouch! That is not good! I used to sun myself too, but then a skin cancer cured me of that habit. My dil is so good with her kids, very vigilant about the sunscreen. We didn't have sunscreen when I was young, so I burned a lot!
